Abstract

The invention discloses a bridge detection structure and a detection method thereof. The bridge detection structure comprises a detection ship, an overwater device installed on the detection ship andused for being close to a pier, a fixing device installed on the overwater device and used for surrounding the pier, a lifting device installed on the fixing device and used for entering underwater, and a detection device installed on the lifting device and used for detecting defects of the pier. The overwater device comprises a base, an adjusting assembly installed on the base and a fixing base which is installed on the adjusting assembly and is always parallel to the horizontal plane in the moving process. The fixing device comprises a driving assembly and a supporting assembly installed onthe driving assembly. The lifting device comprises a lifting assembly and an underwater platform assembly installed on the lifting assembly. The bridge detection structure overcomes the defects of theprior art, provides the special underwater detection structure for the bridge pier, and solves the problems that the existing underwater detection of the bridge pier depends on manpower, and the working intensity is high and the detection risk is high.
