The invention relates to a boiler high-temperature heating surface outer wall temperature measuring point arrangement method and a temperature detection system, and the arrangement method comprises the steps: carrying out the three-dimensional numerical simulation calculation of a whole hearth, and obtaining the numerical simulation results of a three-dimensional temperature field and a velocity field of flue gas in the hearth; according to the temperature field, the velocity field and a preset algorithm, obtaining heat flow density values of all pipes on any cross section in the working medium flowing direction under different loads of the high-temperature heating surface of each area; sequencing the heat flow density values of all positions of each high-temperature heating surface, and determining the positions where the heat flow density values exceed a first preset threshold value under different loads to serve as wall temperature measuring points, wherein the wall temperature measuring points are used for installing temperature detecting parts.
