According to the invention, real-time monitoring of ETC system performance indexes of a toll station and a portal system can be realized in a normal traffic environment of a highway under the conditions of no parking, no road closure and no manual participation; indexes and parameters such as air transaction time, frame communication time, frame data, transaction process data, transaction success rate, occupied bandwidth, carrier frequency, maximum field intensity and the like are obtained, and whether the RSU operates normally or not, whether the transaction is normal or not, a transaction failure reason and the like are positioned and determined through long-term data accumulation and data mining, and a technical basis and a solving method are provided for stable operation and scientific management and maintenance of ETC.
