The invention discloses an intelligent flame detection method based on image segmentation recognition, which comprises the following steps: acquiring real-time field image information T (T1 (x, y), T2 (x, y), T3 (x, y) and T4 (x, y)); calling preset site k (K1 (x, y), K2 (x, y), K3 (x, y) and K4 (x, y)), wherein K1 (x, y) refers to the color feature of the preset flame, K2 (x, y) refers to the motion feature of the preset flame, K3 (x, y) refers to the geometric feature of the preset flame, and K4 (x, y) refers to the texture feature of the preset flame, the preset site refers to a site which operates normally and is free of fire; the relevancy A = k1Q1 + k2Q2 + k3Q3 + k4Q4 is calculated, and k1, k2, k3 and k4 are all weights; if A is smaller than A0, flame alarming is conducted, A0 is a preset value, and A0 is larger than or equal to 0.3 and smaller than or equal to 0.4.
