Abstract

The invention adopts polymorphic inversion single stage method to produce ferriferrous oxide magnetic powder which possesses perfect dispersity, magnetic saturation intensity is above 85emu/g, particle diameter is 0.15-0.4 mum, coercitive force is smaller than 35Oe, surface area is 5-8m2/g. The ferriferrous oxide produced is oxygenized or deacidized further to produce gamma-di-iron trioxide and alpha-Fe magnetic powder which possesses perfect dispersity, coercitive force is big, saturation intensity is high. The magnetic powder can be used widely in fields of digit copy powder, magnetic recording material and medical magnetic powder.
