The invention discloses a fixed-type self-lighting vaginal speculum for rats, which comprises an upper hinge unit and a lower hinge unit, wherein the upper hinge unit comprises an upper main sheet and an upper dilating sheet, the middle part of the upper main sheet is bent upward to form an arch, and the upper dilating sheet is connected on the highest site of the arch of the upper main sheet and extends forward; the lower hinge unit comprises a lower main sheet and a lower dilating sheet, the middle part of the lower main plate is bent downward to form a recess, lower connecting sheets are arranged on the two sides of the recess and extend up, and the lower connecting sheets are hinged with upper connecting sheets through pin shafts; the arch of the upper hinge unit and the recess of the lower hinge unit are oppositely connected to form a cavity; a positioning sheet is arranged at the rear end of the upper hinge unit and extends downward, and positioning teeth are formed on the positioning sheet and used for clamping the rear edge of the lower hinge unit; a lighting circuit is fixed on the lower side of the front end of the upper dilating sheet and formed by an illuminating lamp, a battery and a power switch; and two binding ropes are connected on the two sides of the lower hinge unit respectively. The vaginal speculum is applied to dilate the vagina of a rat in observation and surgical operation of vagina, cervix and uterine cavity of the rat, is convenient to operate and has high stability.
