Abstract

The invention discloses chewing gum with a halitosis dispelling effect. The chewing gum consists of 0.01 to 8 weight parts of nano zinc oxide, 37 to 44.99 weight parts of gum base, 5 to 15 weight parts of xylitol, 5 to 15 weight parts of sorbitol, 5 to 15 weight parts of mannitol, 5 to 15 weight parts of maltitol, 10 to 12 weight parts of mint and 3 to 5 weight parts of flavoring agent; the gum base consists of the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 40 percent of butyl rubber, 25 percent of hydrogenated rosin glycerol ester, 11 percent of paraffin, 1 percent of beef tallow and 23 percent of polyvinyl acetate. The nano zinc oxide is added into the raw materials, bacteria in an oral cavity can be dispelled by zinc oxide when an eater chews the chewing gum in the oral cavity, and the halitosis dispelling effect is fully achieved; and meanwhile, viscosity of the substrate of the chewing gum is strong, so that food residues on the surfaces of teeth can be removed, and halitosis caused by the food residues is avoided.
