The invention relates to whitening cosmetic containing arbutin, a mulberry leaf extract and a rose extract. The whitening cosmetic consists of the following components in parts by weight: 20-30 parts of squalane, 4-6 parts of paraffin wax, 1-3 parts of olive oil, 4-6 parts of isopropyl myristate, 0.5-1.5 parts of guar gum, 0.05-0.1 parts of the arbutin, 0.05-0.1 parts of the mulberry leaf extract and 0.05-0.1 parts of the rose extract. The whitening cosmetic disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the cosmetic is reasonable in prescription and significant in effect, and the raw materials are natural and free from toxic and side effects; and the whitening cosmetic is applicable to people at all ages.
