Abstract

Embodiments of the invention disclose a data protection method and apparatus as well as a power supply module. The method comprises the steps that when a system abnormally loses power, the power supply module of a terminal device starts delayed power supply; a central processing unit (CPU) module of the terminal device sends a stop signal to all processes in the system and synchronizes system files; and the CPU module of the terminal device turns off the system. After the system abnormally loses the power, the power supply can be delayed for a period of time to synchronize the file system, so that according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiments of the invention, the data protection in a scene of abnormal power losing can be realized and the data security and the system stability are improved.
