Abstract

The invention relates to a kettle. The kettle comprises a kettle body made of a metal material, a handle and a water gauge, wherein a window is formed in the kettle body, the water gauge is embedded in the window, and a seal ring is arranged between the window and the water gauge; the handle is detachably and fixedly connected with the kettle body; and the upper end of the window has an open structure which enables the water gauge to be embedded in the window, and the lower end of the window is of a closed structure. Compared with the prior art, the kettle has the advantages that since the upper end of the window has the open structure which enables the water gauge to be embedded into the window and the lower end of the window has the closed structure, the water gauge is pulled out from the window through the upper end of the window having the open structure and is embedded into the window after a new seal ring is changed when the seal ring leaks in the production process or the seal ring is aged and leaks in the using process and needs to be changed; and the seal ring is easy to change, the water gauge is simple and convenient to detach, destructive detachment on the water gauge is not needed, and the water gauge can be used repeatedly and has low maintenance or repairing cost.
