Communication network switching method and mobile terminal

The embodiment of the invention discloses a communication network switching method and a mobile terminal. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a measurement event issued by a network; acquiring an appointed threshold value in a GSM signal in the measurement event; and measuring the LTE signal intensity of the current service cell and the GSM signal intensity of an adjacent service cell; judging whether the LTE signal intensity is less than the preset threshold value; reporting a first measurement report to the network if the LTE signal intensity is less than the preset threshold value, wherein the GSM signal intensity in the first measurement report is the actual measurement value; reporting a second measurement report to the network if the LTE signal intensity is not less than the preset threshold value, wherein the GSM signal in the second measurement report is the preset intensity value, and the preset intensity value is less than the appointed threshold value. By use of the method disclosed by the invention, whether to change the GSM signal intensity to the preset intensity value slightly less than the appointed threshold value in the reported measurement report is decided according to the LTE signal intensity so as to meet a conventional SRVCC switching condition; the switching of the terminal is less frequent and a configuration requirement issued by the network is satisfied.
