To that end, the system and method receive patient information related to the patient and the medical condition, and query a treatment option database to generate a plurality of potential treatment options for the medical condition. In a corresponding manner, the system and method also receive preference information indicative of the patient's preference(s) for potential treatment outcomes of the treatment options. The patient's preference(s) are used to produce a preference value. The system and method also analyze indexed study data relating to the plurality of treatment options to produce (e.g., at least in part in a computer process), based on the analysis of the indexed data, a study score for each of the treatment options. Accordingly, for each treatment option, the method and apparatus produce a treatment score as a function of at least the preference value and the study score, thus permitting generation of a report listing the treatment options and a) the treatment scores or b) the information derived from the treatment scores.

The storage system exports logical storage volumes that are provisioned as storage objects. These storage objects are accessed on demand by connected computer systems using standard protocols, such as SCSI and NFS, through logical endpoints for the protocol traffic that are configured in the storage system. Logical storage volumes are created from a logical storage container having an address space that maps to storage locations of the physical data storage units. Each of the logical storage volumes so created has an address space that maps to the address space of the logical storage container. A logical storage container may span more than one storage system and logical storage volumes of different customers can be provisioned from the same logical storage container with appropriate security settings.

Method and system for dynamically loading data structures into memory with global constant pool

A method of operating a computer involving data structures in a set of data structures. As unloaded data structures are needed during runtime, a data structure is received from a first memory. The data structure includes one or more sets of instructions and one or more constants. Instructions from the data structure are stored in a first portion of a second memory, which comprises RAM. Constants from the data structure are stored in a second portion of the second memory if only if the respective constant has not been stored in the second portion of the second memory. Indexes in instructions that reference the constants are modified to correspond to the respective locations of the constants in the second portion of the second memory, and at least some instructions from the data structure are read and executed from the RAM. Also described is a computer system including a memory and logic that, for classes in a set of classes, receives a class from a class file and stores constants from the class in a second portion of the memory if only if the respective constant has not been stored in the second portion of the memory.

The invention provides a road obstacle detector. The road obstacle detector comprises an ultrasonic wave range finding sensor, a control unit, a computer system, an alarm device and a power supply device, wherein the ultrasonic wave range finding sensor includes an ultrasonic wave emitter and an ultrasonic wave receiving device; the ultrasonic wave emitter is used for emitting an ultrasonic wave signal to a front portion; the ultrasonic wave receiving device is used for receiving a reflected ultrasonic wave signal; the control unit calculates a difference value of time for emitting the ultrasonic wave signal and time for receiving the reflected ultrasonic wave signal, compares the difference value and a preset time difference value and determines whether there is an obstacle in front of a road, and if there is the obstacle, the control unit further calculates an obstacle height; the computer system receives the obstacle height and compares the obstacle height with a preset height threshold, if the obstacle height is greater than the preset height threshold, a vehicle can not pass through and an alarm control signal is emitted; the alarm device emits an alarm signal according to an alarm control signal; and the power supply device provides power for an internal source of the vehicle and the ultrasonic wave range finding sensor. By using the detector of the invention, an early warning effect can be reached so that unnecessary losses during a vehicle running process are reduced.
