Abstract

The invention discloses a service robot which comprises a robot base and wheel groups. The wheel groups are arranged on two sides of the lower part of the robot base; a transmission shaft is connectedto one sides of the wheel groups; and a synchronous pulley is arranged on one side surface of the transmission shaft and is connected with a servo motor through a synchronous belt. According to the service robot provided by the invention, the multiple groups of wheel groups are arranged under the base of the service robot; each wheel group is formed by micro synchronous motors, crawler wheels anda crawler belt; during walking, the micro synchronous motors drive the crawler wheels to rotate so as to drive the crawler belt to rotate; and with the crawler type wheel groups with triangular shapes, on one hand, the contact area of the robot and the ground is increased through the crawler belts, the stability of the robot is improved, and the defect that the robot is poor in stability when walking quickly is overcome, and on the other hand, the micro synchronous motors in each wheel group can independently control the wheel group to rotate, so that the robot can conveniently steer.
