Abstract

The invention provides electrolyte for a lead-acid storage battery and a preparation method thereof and relates to the technical field of lead-acid storage batteries. The electrolyte for the lead-acidstorage battery is prepared by combining a base solution, a reaction layer and a protective layer, wherein the reaction layer is prepared from polyurethane modified resin liquid; the polyurethane modified resin liquid comprises the following raw materials: 4-methyl-1-amylene monomer, paraffin oil, a catalyst, sea-island fibers, a polyurethane prepolyme, 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl-methane,an initiator and sodium bicarbonate; the protective layer comprises the following raw materials: acrylic resin, amino resin, polyethylene terephthalate and aids. The preparation method of the electrolyte for the lead-acid storage battery comprises the following steps: S1, pre-treating a lead-acid storage battery shell; S2, preparing the reaction layer; S3, preparing a protective layer glue solution; S4, assembling. The electrolyte provided by the invention is wide in application range and capable of effectively preventing electrolyte loss, and the preparation method is simple.
