Abstract

The invention discloses a shaft-type workpiece measuring robot and measuring method. The shaft-type workpiece measuring robot comprises: a robot body comprising a base, mechanical arms that are fixedly mounted on both sides of the base and are symmetrical to each other, clamping jaws fixedly mounted at tail ends of wrists of the two mechanical arms, measuring components fixedly mounted on the outer sides of the wrists of the two mechanical arms, and a main control computer electrically connected with the robot body, the clamping jaws and the measuring components, wherein the clamping jaws areconcentric with the center shafts of the wrists of the mechanical arms and rotate around the center shafts of the wrists of the mechanical arms, the measuring components are concentric with the centershafts of the wrists of the mechanical arms and perform rectilinear motion along the axis direction of the center shafts of the wrists of the mechanical arms, and the displacement distances of the measuring components are greater than the lengths of the clamping jaws. The shaft-type workpiece measuring robot disclosed by the invention realizes the automatic positioning and measurement of shaft-type workpieces by using two groups of clamping jaws and measuring components, and improves the measurement accuracy of the crankshaft-shaped shaft-type workpieces by using the characteristic that the two mechanical arms of a dual-arm robot are in the same coordinate system.
