Abstract

The invention relates to an electric cooker. In order to improve the production efficiency by a simple structure even when the starch content of an object to be cooked is reduced during cooking, the present invention provides an electric cooker comprising: an inner container in which an accommodation space is formed; a separation plate which is attached to and detached from the interior of the inner container so as to divide the accommodation space into an upper side cooking area for accommodating an object to be cooked and a lower side water storage area for storing heated water, and has a siphon tube immersed in the heated water in the water storage area on the lower surface part so as to form an opening part in a way of connecting the siphon tube and the cooking area; a perforated platewhich is disposed at a distance from the opening part to the upper side and on which the object to be cooked is placed; and a separation plate gasket. When the inner container is heated, steam pressure of the water storage area is increased so as to arrange the heated water on the edge of the separation plate in a way of rising along the siphon tube to seal the space between the separation plateand the inner container.
