Abstract

The invention discloses application of punicalagin in preparation of a medicine for treating psoriasis, and relates to the technical field of new application of medicines. The punicalagin is found to be capable of remarkably improving skin inflammation of psoriasis mice, relieving skin lesion, reducing skin lesion thickness of the mice and inhibiting abnormal proliferation of keratinocytes, and has no obvious side effect. The punicalagin can be used for developing novel medicines for treating psoriasis, and has wide medical prospects and economic values.
