[0012]Agents aimed at replicating the flavor of an alcoholic beverage are documented in the art. They are, for example used in the food industry and have also been used in the tobacco product industry. Such flavoring agents are not, however, an extract obtained from an alcoholic beverage as in the present invention, and can include significant amounts of ethanol. This means that the known flavoring agents provide an artificial aroma and flavor when inhaled by the user and are of low quality in terms of the sensory experience they provide.

A process for forming an aerosolizable formulation, forming an aerosol from the aerosolizable formulation, a contained aerosolizable formulation, an electronic aerosol provision system and the use of an extract obtained from an alcoholic beverage as a flavoring agent in an electronic aerosol provision system, wherein the extract contains less than about 5% v/v ethanol.
