The invention provides a charging method, which comprises the steps that a mobile terminal is provided, wherein the mobile terminal comprises a first circuit board, a first charging chip arranged on the first circuit board, a second circuit board, a second charging chip arranged on the second circuit board and a battery; the second charging chip is connected to the first charging chip in parallel; the battery is connected to the first charging chip and the second charging chip; the mobile terminal is connected to a charging power supply for charging the battery and simultaneously adjusting the charging state according to voltage of the battery; when the voltage of the battery is lower than second critical voltage, the battery enters a pre-charging state; when the voltage of the battery is greater than or equal to second critical voltage and smaller than third critical voltage, the battery enters a fast charging state; when the voltage of the battery is greater than or equal to the third critical voltage, the battery enters a constant-voltage charging state; and when charging current is smaller than or equal to cutoff current, charging is ended. By the charging method, the charging efficiency can be improved.
