The invention discloses an experimental system for measuring friction loss of high-pressure fluid in a rotor-static gap and a working method of the experimental system, and belongs to the technical field of turbomachinery design and analysis. Compared with a conventional friction loss measurement method, the influence of bearing friction loss and graphite ring sealing device friction loss in the experiment table main body device on measurement of the friction loss of the fluid in the rotating and static gap is eliminated, and the measurement precision of fluid friction is greatly improved. Meanwhile, when the friction loss of the bearing and the friction loss of the graphite ring sealing device are measured, the fluid pressure in the rotor-static gap is fully reduced to reduce the influence of the fluid friction loss, and the measurement precision is improved. By improving the shaft end sealing technology, the friction loss of the high-pressure and high-density supercritical fluid in the rotor-static gap is measured. According to the method, high-precision measurement of the friction loss of the high-pressure fluid in the rotor-static gap is realized, and the method can be used for checking a numerical simulation method and a friction loss prediction model.
