The invention provides a highly flame-retardant polypropylene foaming sheet and a preparation method thereof. The highly flame-retardant polypropylene foaming sheet is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 70-78 parts of polypropylene resin, 7-10 parts of polyethylene resin, 8-12 parts of polyoxyethylene resin, 4-6 parts of a cross-linking agent, 4-6 parts of an anti-aging agent, 5-10 parts of a foaming agent, 1-1.5 parts of a compound intumescent flame retardant, 1-2 parts of a bromine-nitrogen compound flame retardant and 1-2 parts of a halogen-free flame retardant. The highly flame-retardant polypropylene foaming sheet is remarkably improved in flame resistance, tensile strength, elongation at break and the like, and low in flame retardant dosage.
