5 results about "Movement detection" patented technology

Movement Detection is an add-on app for Tasker or Locale, which lets you detect various types of motion, such as driving in a car, riding a bicycle, or walking - or when NOT doing any one of those things. You can make sure that your "Work" settings aren't triggered until you have stopped driving,...

Automated monitoring, detection, and reporting of unauthorized movement and/or theft of vehicles and cargo

A method and an enhanced electronic logging device (ELD) enable a load lock feature of a vehicle that assists with automated theft detection, reporting, and tracking of stolen vehicles / cargo. The processor of the ELD enables the ELD to register the operator MCD to receive notifications generated by a load lock module and present on a display of the ELD at least one selectable option for activating a load lock of the vehicle, the load lock identifying that the operator has parked the vehicle and has triggered the ELD to report any movement of the vehicle that occurs while the load lock is activated. The processor generates and transmits a notification of unauthorized movement or a potential theft of the vehicle in response to receiving an input from the movement detection device indicating that the vehicle is moving or being moved from a parked location while the load lock is activated.

The invention provides a movement detector for a composite signal, comprising a frame delay unit, a first combiner, a second combiner and a third combiner. The frame delay unit receives the composite signal to generate a one-frame delayed signal, a two-frame delayed signal, and a three-frame delayed signal. The first combiner generates a first difference from a first pair of the composite signal, the one-frame delayed signal, the two-frame delayed signal, and the three-frame delayed signal. The second mean generates a second difference from a second pair of the composite signal, the one-frame delayed signal, the two-frame delayed signal, and the three-frame delayed signal. The first pair is different from the second pair. The third combiner generates a third difference for detecting motion based on the first difference and the second difference.

The invention provides an audition and vision collaborative humanoid robot head orientation method. The method is characterized by mainly comprising the following steps of firstly, acquiring a voice signal through a microphone array and recording time; recognizing by using a human voice recognition method, and counting the number of microphones for collecting human voice; setting a candidate target orientation according to time when the number of the voice microphones is greater than 1; then rotating a camera and acquiring a video; obtaining human face image frames from the video, obtaining a human face recognition result through recognition by means of a human face recognition method, and counting the number of human faces; when the number of the human faces is greater than 1, calculating human face areas and sorting the human face areas; setting candidate target human faces according to the ranking; then, achieving lip movement recognition through a lip movement detection algorithm; setting a target orientation according to the area when the number of the human faces with lip movement is greater than 1; and finally rotating the head of the humanoid robot to realize orientation. According to the method, the humanoid robot can distinguish the human voice from other voices and can accurately interact with the target human voice.
