3 results about "Soil pH" patented technology

Soil pH is a measure of the acidity or basicity (alkalinity) of a soil. pH is defined as the negative logarithm (base 10) of the activity of hydronium ions (H⁺ or, more precisely, H₃O⁺aq) in a solution. In soils, it is measured in a slurry of soil mixed with water (or a salt solution, such as 0.01 M CaCl₂), and normally falls between 3 and 10, with 7 being neutral. Acid soils have a pH below 7 and alkaline soils have a pH above 7. Ultra-acidic soils (pH < 3.5) and very strongly alkaline soils (pH > 9) are rare.

The invention relates to a soil improvement method, in particular to a soil improvement method for planting blueberries. The method mainly solves the technical problems that existing blueberry planting soil improvement measurements affect soil organism conditions, are high in cost and have toxic action on blueberry roots. The method includes the steps that firstly, fermented furfural residues are evenly applied to soil to be improved in summer, and turning plough is performed to make the fermented furfural residues and the soil fully mixed; secondly, after 1-1.5 months, peat, saw dust and organic fertilizer are applied to the soil, and turning plough is performed to make the peat, the saw dust and the organic fertilizer fully mixed with the soil; thirdly, manual weeding is performed; fourthly, soil plowing and ridging are performed in the spring of the next year, and the improvement to the soil for planting blueberries is completed. The pH value of the improved soil is 4.5-4.8, nutrient status of the soil is improved, and the survival rate of transplanted biennial blueberries and the survival rate of six-year-growing-period blueberries can reach 95-96% and 96-97% respectively. The method is used for blueberry cultivation.

The invention discloses a microbial improvement method for soil of an abandoned land of a mine. The method comprises the following steps of step 1, soil stabilization and plant surface planting through bacillus subtillis, wherein antibiotics are generated, hormones stimulating the plant growth are secreted, and host microorganisms are trapped and killed; step 2, nitrogen fixation, wherein gaseousnitrogen in the atmosphere is fixed through nodule bacteria, brown nitrogen-fixing bacteria and frankiaceae for providing nitrogen nutrients for plants; step 3, phosphorus and potassium adding, wherein potassium, silicon and phosphorus in soil minerals are decomposed through bacillus mucilaginosus; step 4, phosphorus and potassium dissolving. The microbial improvement method for the soil of the abandoned land of the mine has the advantages that through multi-proportion addition of a microbial agent, the introduction of harmful microbes is controlled and cut off, beneficial microbes are cultivated, the soil is improved continuously through the action of the beneficial microbes, heavy metals are controlled, chelated and conditioned through the decomposition characteristics of the cultivatedmicrobes, the PH value of the soil is neutralized, soil ripening is accelerated to improve the soil, the self-purification action is strengthened, and natural circulation is accelerated to improve thehealthy growth of hyperaccumulators.
