Abstract

The invention provides a method and equipment for testing the response speed of an application. The method comprises the following steps: recording a moment at which the tested application starts to run as a test starting time point; reading pixel values of test pixels on a screen from a frame buffer of the screen of a mobile terminal; recording a moment at which the pixel values of test pixels all reach target pixel values of the test pixels as a test ending time point; calculating a time difference between the test ending time point and the test starting time point as the response time of the tested application. According to the method and the equipment, the response speed of the application can be rapidly tested; the method and the equipment are high in accuracy and universality and low in cost.
