Abstract

The invention relates to a chemical fertilizer, and particularly relates to a poplar special fertilizer for and an application method thereof. The poplar special fertilizer comprises the following components by weight: 20-30% of monoammonium phosphate, 20-30% of urea, 10-12% of sulfate ammonium, 7-9% of potassium sulfate, 8-10% of calcium superphosphate, 8-10% of sulfuric acid diphosphate, 10-12%of nitrogen, 10-12% of potassium oxide and 5-7% of trace elements. The poplar special fertilizer is prepared from urea, calcium superphosphate, potassium sulfate and trace elements in different proportions determined according to the different poplar varieties. The application method is hole application, the poplar special fertilizer is applied once every year in late winter and early spring application time, the hole depth is 40 cm, and the distance between the application hole position and tree toot is increased year by year.
