Abstract

The present invention relates to a laundry care appliance having a device loading opening, a device door and a laundry drum. The laundry drum is rotatable about an axis of rotation, with the axis of rotation extending from the front of the appliance to the rear side of the appliance. The laundry care appliance is also provided with an alkaline liquid container used for receiving washing liquid andcomprising a discharging port. The laundry care appliance comprises a feeding nozzle, and the feeding nozzle and the discharging port are connected through a pipeline in the field of fluid technology. The pipeline is provided with a pump used for pumping the washing liquid from the discharging port through the pipeline into the feeding nozzle. The inside of the device door is provided with a diverting gear. The feeding nozzle is configured to lead the washing liquid pumped out by the feeding nozzle to the diverting gear radially relative to the axis of rotation. The diverting gear is configured to redirect the washing liquid impinging on the diverting gear towards the laundry drum, and the diverted washing liquid is sprayed into the laundry drum along the axis of rotation, thus facilitating wetting of laundry in the laundry drum.
