Example Embodiment

[0030] Example 1

[0031] In the beaker, add 192g of p-hydroxyphenylhydantoin production solid waste residue (equivalent to 1.0mol o-hydroxyphenylhydantoin), add 200mL of deionized water, stir and disperse, adjust the pH of the suspension to 1-2 with hydrochloric acid with a mass concentration of 10%. Heat to 80°C, slowly add 60.8g of formaldehyde solution with a mass concentration of 37% (equal to 0.75 mol of formaldehyde) under stirring. After the addition is completed, the reaction is kept for 1h, and cooled to 30°C. The polymerization of ureidohydantoin and urea with formaldehyde The product was still dissolved in the mother liquor, the precipitate was separated by filtration, and dried at 105°C to obtain 122 g of thermoplastic hydantoin-substituted phenolic resin. Example Embodiment

[0033] Example 2

[0034] 100g of the hydantoin-substituted phenolic resin matrix prepared in Example 1 and 150g of anhydrous zinc chloride with a content of 98% were mixed and ground into an alumina crucible and placed in a box-type high-temperature furnace protected by nitrogen. The heating rate is 5°C / min to 550°C. The heating of the high-temperature furnace is stopped, and the temperature is lowered to 350°C at a heat dissipation rate of 5°C / min. The nitrogen gas is stopped, and the activated material is naturally cooled to normal temperature in the air. Transfer the activated material into the dissolving tank, immerse and dissolve zinc chloride in 500mL hot water grades, then impregnate the activated carbon with a 10% mass concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid solution, filter the activated carbon, and wash the activated carbon with deionized water to a pH of 5-6 , Dried at 120℃ to obtain high-performance activated carbon powder with a specific surface area of 1200m

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing high-performance activated carbon by utilizing phenolic wastes. The method comprises the following steps: enabling solid waste residues produced by hydroxyphenyl hydantoin to react with formaldehyde under different conditions to form thermoplastic hydantoin-substituted phenolic resins and thermosetting hydantoin-substituted phenolic resins, mixing and milling the resins, and heating and curing to form a hydantoin-substituted phenolic resin matrix; mixing and milling the hydantoin-substituted phenolic resin matrix and a chemical activator, completing carbonization of the resins in the heating and temperature rising process in a high temperature furnace, completing activation of the carbonized material in the cooling process, and performing staged dipping separation on the chemical activator, thereby obtaining the high-performance activated carbon. According to the method disclosed by the invention, a novel raw material source channel is developed for producing the high-performance activated carbon at low cost, and comprehensive utilization of chemical pharmaceutical wastes is realized.
