The scheme is as follows: a scheme is adopted; when the client detectsthat the live broadcast application is started; sending a connection request to a live broadcast server, wherein the connection request comprises all handshake data packets corresponding to connection establishment; and sending a connection request to the live broadcast server, thereby enabling the live broadcast server to send a connection response to the client according to the handshake data packets included in the received connection request, the connection response comprising response data packets corresponding to each handshake data packet, judging whether the connection response is received within a preset duration, If so, determining to establish a connection with the live broadcast server.
