Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of a water-resistant gypsum emulsion. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, mixing gypsum, silica fume, borax, activated carbon, cement and a stearic acid emulsion, and conducting stirring and mixing for 1-3 h to obtain an emulsion system A; step 2, adding aluminum oxide and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose into the emulsion system A obtained in the step 1 under a stirring condition at 60-80 DEG C, and continuing stirring after the aluminum oxide and the hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose are added so as to obtain an emulsion system B; step 3, adding polyacrylamide into the emulsion system B obtained in the step 2 under a stirring condition at 85-95 DEG C, continuing stirring after the polyacrylamide is added, and performing natural cooling to room temperature; and step 4, centrifugally separating the system after cooling in the step 3 to obtain the water-resistant gypsum emulsion. The gypsum emulsion prepared by the method disclosed by the invention has stable and long-lasting water resistance, can be applied to the building industry, is simple in components and low in cost, and can effectively save raw materials and protect the environment.
