Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-row rope measuring device and method. The device comprises a pulse sensor and a controller, the pulse sensor is used for detecting the pulse number in the rotating lifting or lowering process of a winding drum; the controller is connected with a display, the display displays an actual sounding value, and when an outer-layer rope is just put down to an intersection of an inner-row rope, a sounding value at the moment, namely the rope length, is recorded and written into a memory of the controller through the display to participate in subsequent sounding calculation; and the controller is connected with a pulse sensor, receives the pulse number sent by the pulse sensor, and calculates a sounding value based on the pulse number and a preset calculation strategy. The measuring device is simple in structure, can reduce cost, can accurately measure the drilling depth and improve the construction efficiency.
