Benefits of technology

This technology allows devices (such as sensors) can continue working even if they are moved around too much during their lifetime. It achieves this through continual location tracking that keeps track of where each sensor was previously installed on its own system. By combining these two techniques together, it ensures accurate measurements over time without any interruptions from external factors such as weather conditions or other environmental changes.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem: Current methods used in wireless position finding systems rely heavily upon static databases with fixed templates or fuzzy logic techniques due to changes caused by factors like environmental conditions (such as temperature) or user behavior during use. These limitations can lead to instability and decreased performance even if they were initially designed correctly.

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of wireless positioning, in particular to an RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) fingerprint-based indoor positioning method, which comprises the following steps of: S1, when detecting that equipment to be positioned generates a positioning signal, respectively acquiring the signal receiving strength of each positioning gateway; s2, generating a global posterior probability of each fingerprint point according to the signal receiving strength and the prior probability; and S3, outputting a positioning result according to the global posterior probability and the position coordinates of the fingerprint points, generating a new prior probability corresponding to each fingerprint point according to the positioning result and the global posterior probability, and then returning to S1. The method has the beneficial effects that the next prior probability for the same to-be-positioned device is generated by introducing the positioning result in the continuous positioning process, so that the fusion of historical data in the continuous positioning process is realized, the previous positioning is associated with the current positioning, and the positioning accuracy is improved. The coordinate jumping phenomenon caused by the independent positioning process in the prior art is reduced, and the continuity of the positioning track and the positioning stability are improved.
