Example Embodiment

[0035] Example 1

[0036] The present embodiment provides a method for preparing a surface drug coating of a drug balloon, comprising the following steps:

[0037] Prepare the dip coating solution: Weigh 300 mg of paclitaxel and 10 mg of mannitol and dissolve them in 10 mL of acetone, stir for 1 min, and ultrasonicate for 20 min to obtain a supersaturated dip coating solution. The ultrasonic frequency is 60 Hz and the temperature is 35 °C;

[0038] Configure the spraying solution: Weigh 80 mg of paclitaxel and 15 mg of maltol and dissolve them in 6 mL of ethanol, stir for 1 min, and ultrasonicate for 10 min to obtain an unsaturated spraying solution. The ultrasonic frequency is 60 Hz and the temperature is 35 °C;

[0039] Dip coating: keep stirring the dip coating solution at a rotational speed of 50 rps, then put the balloon into the dip coating solution to keep stirring for 5 minutes, take out the balloon and put it in an oven to dry at 40°C for 3 minutes;

[0040] Spraying: P

Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of a surface drug coating of a drug balloon. The preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving a drug and a carrier in a solvent to respectively prepare a supersaturated solution and an unsaturated solution; sequentially carrying out dip-coating and spray-coating on the balloon by using a supersaturated solution and an unsaturated solution; the spraying frequency is 5 to 200 times. According to the method, the surface of the balloon can be coated with a layer of medicine crystal nucleus firstly through dip-coating, ideal crystals can be formed in the subsequent spraying process, growth of the crystals generated through spraying can be better controlled, and the firmness of a medicine coating is improved. The medicine balloon prepared by the method can be used for treating lumen stenosis of blood vessels, urethra and ureters, and plays a role in inhibiting lumen restenosis.
