According to the method, the gluing test is performed on the gluing mechanism before gluing to obtain the corresponding glue width error value, the gluing parameters of the gluing mechanism are adjusted according to the glue width error value, and the gluing operation is performed on the to-be-glued vamp after the adjustment, so that the glue width change of the gluing mechanism can be automatically compensated in the actual gluing process; the influence of glue width change is reduced, manual intervention and correction are not needed, and the vamp gluing precision and efficiency are improved.
