Benefits of technology

This patented packaging has two main technical features: it uses space inside its top or base instead of just one side; this allows more room on both sides when storing products compared with traditional packages where only one surface needs to store product capacity (the other hand). Additionally, there are several advantages over current designs such as long shelf life due to greater stability during shipment and wider range of use by customers. Overall, these improvements make them better at keeping things stored within their own container.

Problems solved by technology

Technic problem addressed in this patented technical solution described in the current design of packages containing different gases like carbon dioxide (CO2)) can cause damage during storage due to exposure to atmospheres other than those specifically mentioned earlier.

Embodiment Construction

[0078] The invention will now be elucidated with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0079] FIG. 1 shows a container 1 having four vertical walls 2 and a bottom comprising a flat bottom part 3 , a flat central part 4 and a connecting edge part 5 connecting parts 3 and 4 . Figure 1 shows the base 3, 4, 5 in its basic form, where it is formed eg by injection moulding.

[0080] Figure 2 represents the situation in which the container 1 is placed on the mouth 6 of the suction line 7, the suction device (not shown) connected to it is activated, as indicated by the arrow 8, and the central bottom part 4 thus passes through the mouth 6 of the suction line 7. The temporary variant of the connecting edge 5 , denoted 5 ′, is thus shifted downwards. In the case of such an enlarged container, hot food is introduced into the container 1 (not shown) and the lid 9 is hermetically arranged on the rim 10, eg by sealing. Then, the actuation of the inhalation device is stopped and the botto

Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging for foodstuffs, comprising: a receptacle ( 10 ) having a displaceable part ( 16 ) which forms part of the bottom, the body part or the lid, which part is connected to the remaining peripheral part ( 16 ) of respectively the bottom, the body part or the lid by an elastically deformable coupling edge ( 17 ), such that the displaceable part is movable between a first position displaced to the outside and a second position displaced to the inside. The packaging has the feature that the displaceable part has a generally rectangular shape corresponding with the shape of said remaining part of the bottom, the body or the lid; the surface area of the displaceable part amounts to at least 50% of the total surface area of the bottom, the body or the lid; the displaceable part has bending stiffness.
