AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

The present invention relates to a plant protective agent with very few side effects on humans and animals. It works effectively against harmful organism like bacteria, yeast, fungi, etc., while being easy to store and transport. Additionally, this agent can kill any harmful substances produced during production without causing damage to crops.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patent text is how to create stable and effective compositions containing iron oxides, particularly when exposed to high levels of environmental stresses like saltwater environments.

production example 1

1. Preparation of OUMS1-BIOX

[0121]OUMS1-BIOX was prepared by culturing OUMS1 using the following culture fluid (SIGP medium (Sawayama et al., Curr Microbial (2011) 63: 173-180)).

[0122]Using the elementary composition obtained by ICP analysis of groundwater collected from a water purification plant in Joyo City as an indicator, the following salts were added to 1 L of pure water.

[0123]Na2SiO3-9H2O: 0.2 g

[0124]CaCl2-2H2O: 0.044 g

[0125]MgSO4-7H2O: 0.041 g

[0126]Further, the following reagents used in a GPGP medium were added.

[0127]Glucose: 1 g (final concentration: 0.1%)

[0128]Peptone: 1 g (final concentration: 0.1%)

[0129]Na2HPO2-12H2O: 0.076 g

[0130]KH2PO4-2H2O: 0.02 g

[0131]HEPES: 2.383 g

[0132]FeSO4: 0.05 mmol

[0133]After these were sequentially dissolved, the pH was adjusted to 7.0 using an NaOH solution, followed by filtration through a PIPE filter (0.02 μm, millipore). Then, a 99.9% iron piece (10×10×1.2 mm, produced by Kojundo Chemical Laboratory Co., Ltd.) was placed, and rotary culture

example 1

Spraying in Field

[0150]OUMS1-BIOX (10 g) or BIOX (10 g) obtained from a water purification tank in the Faculty of Agriculture at Okayama University is suspended in 10 L of water and sufficiently mixed. The resulting mixture is placed in an atomizer, and sprayed on crop: Brassica campestris (14th day after seeding) under the following condition. As a result, an excellent effect of preventing gray mold and anthracnose is obtained.

[0151]Amount of water sprayed: equivalent to 1 L / 25 m2.

example 2

Spraying in Field

[0152]OUMS1-BIOX (10 g) or BIOX (10 g) obtained from a water purification tank in the Faculty of Agriculture at Okayama University is suspended in 10 L of water and sufficiently mixed. The resulting mixture is placed in an atomizer, and sprayed on crop: pea (28th day after seeding) under the following condition. As a result, an excellent effect of preventing mycosphaerella blight is obtained.

[0153]Amount of water sprayed: equivalent to 1 L / 25 m2.
