Abstract

The invention discloses a separating method and in particular discloses a mixed liquor separating method used for wastewater treatment. The invention provides a mixed liquor separating method which is characterized by utilizing the kinetic energy in the process of liquid flowing to generate rotational flow, so as to separate three phases. The method comprises the following steps: A. ensuring the mixed liquor to tangentially entering into a container along the inner wall of the container so that the mixed liquor moves along the inner wall which is in a shape of a rotating body, thus generating the rotational flow to carry out centrifugal movement; B. standing and further separating the solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase; and C. exhausting the solid and residual liquor in a larger proportion from a concentrated residual liquor outlet at the bottom of the separator and exhausting the gas from a gas outlet at the top of the separator. The invention has the following beneficial effects: the mixed liquor enters into the container from the tangent of the inner wall of the container on the axis of a feed inlet, so that the wastewater flows into the container along the inner wall of the container and the formed rotational flow ensures the heavier concentrated residual liquor and crystalline solids to sink to the bottom of the container, the lighter liquid to float on the upper part of the container and the gas to escape from the top of the container by adopting the centrifugation principle.
