Abstract

The invention provides a device and method for realizing a communication cascade of multiple lithium battery groups. The device comprises a host machine, an upper machine and more than one slave machines. The host machine is electrically connected with each of the salve machines respectively. The host machine is also electrically connected with the upper machine. The host machine and each of the slave machines comprise a battery group which is provided with a protective plate, and an isolation communication circuit which is electrically connected with the battery group having the protective plate. Therefore, a use state of each battery group can be effectively monitored so that a situation of an overcharge or an over-discharge of each battery group can be avoided, and a use safety of the whole battery group system is enhanced.
