AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better protection against rust on anodized metal structures made from this type of material by applying layers that contain specific chemicals called tin (II) oxide). These technical results include improved adhesion between different materials used together without causing damage or affect their performance.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed by this patented technology relates to finding an optimal balance between aluminums (Al) and magnetic metals (Mg). This can be important for improving both performance and durability of these types of materials during use or manufacturing processes such as plasma spray coated surfaces on vehicles that require protection against environmental factors like salt fogging from rainwater.

Abstract

The invention discloses an aluminum-magnesium alloy electroplating solution which is composed of 20-35 g/L nickel sulfate, 15-25 g/L chromic sulfate, 15-35 g/L copper sulfate, 1-5 g/L cobalt acetate, 50-80 g/L tetrahydrothiazolyl thione, 10-20 g/L citric acid, 1-5 g/L ascorbic acid, 10-40 g/L sodium oxalate, 40-50 g/L sodium borate, 20-35 g/L potassium citrate and the balance of deionized water. The aluminum-magnesium alloy electroplating solution can solve the problem of high corrosion tendency of the aluminum-magnesium alloy in the electroplating construction, and can enhance the binding force of the coating.
