Abstract

The invention provides a novel method for enhancing performance of EP through NCC-g-ECH As the molecular chain of cured pure EP has a three-dimensional cross-linked network, the cured product is generally crisp, and poor in peeling resistance, cracking resistance and shock resistance, and easily causes stress cracks under the action of external impulse load, thereby being incapable of meeting the requirements of increasing development of the engineering technology. The method provided by the invention includes the following steps: (1) alkalization of nano-crystalline cellulose; (2) grating of nano-crystalline cellulose onto epichlorohydrin; (3) mixing of the grafted product into EP; (4) curing of the mixed EP. The invention relates to the novel method for enhancing performance of EP through NCC-g-ECH.
