Abstract

The invention relates to environment-protective printing ink for printing a packing box with patterns or characters, which is prepared by mixing the raw materials comprising LX-2 resin, aqueous acrylic resin, sodium alginate, plant-sourced color paste, butanone, triethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethanol, zinc stearate and water. The method includes the steps of mixing the raw materials according to certain proportion, and grinding and dispersing the mixture and performing filtration to prepare the printing ink. The printing ink can be attached to the surface of the packing box rapidly, is slight in odor and can be quickly dried completely and is free of environment pollution and threat on body health. The printed patterns or characters are smooth, clean, plump and bright.
