Abstract

The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine composition for the treatment of asthma in children. The composition is prepared from the following crude drugs by weight: (consisting of a group A and a group B): the group A comprises ephedra, gardenia, radix sophorae flavescentis, Fritillaria thunbergii, licorice, rhubarb, chamomile, radix stemonae, Flos farfarae, scaphium scaphigerum, aster, asarum, Scutellaria, Stephania tetrandra, balloonflower root, Chinese angelica, frankincense, Platycodon root, forsythia, indian stringbush root and fructus amomi; the group B comprises: Radix Pseudostellariae, Radix Astragali, Poria cocos, fried atractylodes, radix sileris, tangerine peel, pinellia, calcined dragon bone and oyster shell (first fried), Chinese magnoliavine, tingli seed, radix paeoniae rubra, licorice, lily, Chinese yam, wolfberry, ophiopogon root and prepared rehmannia root. The composition of the invention of has reasonable prescription, prescribes a medicine special for the disease, treats principal and subordinate symptom, has clear curative effect, and can effectively treat asthma in children.
