Abstract

The invention provides a method for generating electricity by excrement methane of a livestock and poultry farm. The method comprises the following steps: (1) collecting excrement generated in the livestock and poultry farm; (2) performing anaerobic digestion on the excrement to generate methane; and (3) generating electricity by utilizing methane. The method preferably comprises the following steps: (11) filtering excrement and (12) precipitating the excrement between step (1) and step (2), (21) purifying methane between step (2) and step (3), and (4) using the generated electricity by self and/or accessing to a public power grid after the step (3). The invention further provides a related system. According to the method for generating electricity be excrement methane of the livestock and poultry farm, the excrement in the livestock and poultry farm is utilized to generate methane and generate power, so that the excrement in the livestock and poultry farm is prevented from polluting the environment, the comprehensive utilization of excrement in the livestock and poultry farm can be promoted, waste is turned into wealth, and economic benefit is generated. The method and system are suitable for large-scale popularization and application.
