Abstract

The invention discloses a novel high-efficiency solar seawater desalination device, comprising an evaporation box, heat-conducting copper tubes with rectangular fins, sprinklers, a liquid level control valve, a conical distributor, a condensation box, condensing copper tubes with longitudinal fins, a gas channel, a fresh water tank, a fresh water outlet pipeline, a liquid distributor, a normal-temperature seawater tank, a gas pump, a trough solar thermal collector and a solar current-collecting system, wherein the liquid distributor is installed above a condensation box; the evaporation box is installed on the bottom of the condensation box; and the condensing copper tubes with the longitudinal fins are vertically fixed in the condensation box, extend into the evaporation box, and are connected with the liquid distributor. The novel high-efficiency solar seawater desalination device provided by the invention adopts solar energy for heat supply and power supply and employs the principles of air humidification and dehumidification for preparation of fresh water; and the device is compact in structure and high in energy utilization rate, can rapidly and efficiently prepare fresh water from seawater, and is of important significance to freshwater production in areas such as islands in shortage of fresh water resources.
