8 results about "High impedance" patented technology

In electronics, high impedance means that a point in a circuit (a node) allows a relatively small amount of current through, per unit of applied voltage at that point. High impedance circuits are low current and potentially high voltage, whereas low impedance circuits are the opposite (low voltage and potentially high current). Numerical definitions of "high impedance" vary by application.

Headset antenna and connector for the same

A headset antenna and a connector for the same are provided. The headset antenna includes an audio signal line, an antenna and a high impedance element in specified application frequency ranges. The audio signal line is adapted for transmitting an audio signal and the antenna is adapted for receiving an RF signal. The high impedance element is disposed on a transmission path of the audio signal and generates a high impedance at a specified frequency band of the RF signal, so that the audio signal line is equivalent to an open circuit and the antenna obtains a better receiving capability.

Capacitive Touch Sensing Apparatus and Detection Method Thereof

A capacitive touch sensing apparatus includes a plurality of sensing capacitor units, a control signal generation unit, a plurality of high impedance controllers, and a detection unit. The plurality of sensing capacitor units are utilized for generating a plurality of touch analog signals. The control signal generation unit is utilized for generating a plurality of control signals. The plurality of high impedance controllers are installed by intersections of a plurality of control signal lines and a plurality of signal transmission lines, where each of the high impedance controllers conducts a corresponding touch analog signal to a corresponding signal transmission line according to a corresponding control signal. The detection unit is utilized for determining whether a touch event occurs according to the conducted touch analog signal

Circuit for providing a high and a low impedance and a system comprising the circuit

ActiveUS20180146301A1Impedence matching networksMicrophonesAudio power amplifierLow voltage
A system including a transducer and an amplifier as well as a circuit which always has a high impedance at low voltages. In addition, at high voltages, the circuit has a high impedance at high frequencies but a low impedance at low frequencies. In biased transducers, this circuit may be used between the charge pump and the transducer. In general, the circuit may be provided in a signal path between the transducer and the amplifier. The circuit has as an advantage that at startup, low frequency signals at high intensities may overload the amplifier, whereas at operation, higher frequency signals are desired fed to the amplifier at the same intensity. This is facilitated by the circuit.
