The invention discloses an SDN-based data service transmission optimization method and device, and the method comprises the steps: deploying an SDN controller in a network to achieve the unified planning and scheduling of the network, carrying out the expansion of an
openflow protocol, enabling front-end equipment to support the
openflow protocol, and obeying the unified scheduling of the SDN controller. The SDN controller monitors the network condition in real time, and when it is found that no redundant network resources are available in the network, the SDN controller coordinates the low-priority video
stream service to restrain sending. After receiving the scheduling instruction, the corresponding front-end equipment suppresses the video
stream sending of the front-end equipment. Afterthe network resource is recovered, the SDN controller notifies the front-end equipment to recover the related video
stream again. Normal sending of high-priority services can be effectively ensured,and network resources are fully utilized.
