Abstract

The invention provides a process for extracting gama-interferon from pichia pastoris fermentation liquor. The process comprises the steps of putting in a tank, centrifuging, membrane separating, shaping, and spray drying. The shaping step is characterized by adding excipient and a protective agent into the fermentation liquor. The excipient is any one of trehalose, starch, mannitol and maltodextrin; the concentration of the excipient is 5 to 20 percent. The protective agent is any one of soya bean lecithin, lysine, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and polyethylene glycol 20000; the concentration of the protective agent is 1 to 8 percent. The method provided by the invention is adopted for extracting the gama-interferon from the pichia pastoris fermentation liquor, and the activity of the gama-interferon can reach 3.23 * 106 to 4.29 * 106 IU/ml.
