Abstract

The invention provides a flexible display device. The flexible display device comprises a flexible substrate, an organic light-emitting layer and a packaging layer, wherein the flexible substrate comprises a display area, and a first frame area, a second frame area, a third frame area and a fourth frame area which are positioned on four sides of the display area, the first frame area is opposite to the fourth frame area, the second frame area is opposite to the third frame area, and each of the second frame area and the third frame area is internally provided with a bend line; the organic light-emitting layer is arranged on the display area; and the packaging layer is arranged on the organic light-emitting layer, the first frame area, the second frame area, the third frame area and the fourth frame area; and the flexible substrate and the packaging layer are bent upwards or downwards along the bend lines inside the second frame area and the third frame area. According to the flexible display device, the packaging strength of an organic electroluminescence layer is improved by bending the packaging layer and the flexible substrate for frames with relatively large widths, so that theresistance, to the invasion of water vapor and oxygen, of the organic electroluminescence layer is improved, and the service life of the display device is prolonged. Moreover, the width of the frameafter the packaging layer is bent is reduced, so that the purpose of displaying the narrow frame can be achieved.
