Abstract

The invention discloses a carbon fiber material and a preparation method and an application thereof. By taking asphalt-based carbon fiber precursors as a raw material, the material is oxidized and carbonized to obtain the carbon fiber material. The preparation process is simple, and the prepared carbon fiber material has the characteristics of being low in friction coefficient, high in wear resistance and high in conductivity. A pantograph slide block is prepared from the carbon fiber material prepared from the asphalt-based carbon fiber precursors. The pantograph slide block is prepared directly from the asphalt-based carbon fiber precursors without a carbon dust pressing process. Although the cost of the raw materials is relatively increased by the novel method, the prepared pantograph slide block is long in service life, high in safety performance, high in reliability and higher in cost performance, and can fully meet the using demand that the pantograph of a locomotive is in contact with an electrified wire net to slide.
