Abstract

The invention relates to a sinkable buffer type hood hinge. The sinkable buffer type hood hinge comprises a hinge base, a hinge leaf, a hinge arm and a locking structure, wherein the hinge base is used for being fixedly connected with a vehicle body, and a track groove is formed in the hinge base; the hinge leaf is connected with the hinge base in a pivoted mode, a connecting pin is arranged on the hinge leaf, the connecting pin penetrates through the track groove, and when the hinge leaf rotates relative to the hinge base, the connecting pin moves in the track groove; one end of the hinge arm is used for being fixedly connected with an engine hood, and the other end of the hinge arm is connected with the hinge leaf in a pivoted mode; and the locking structure is assembled on the hinge base and used for locking or unlocking the connecting pin. According to the sinkable buffer type hood hinge, a certain collapse space is provided, pedestrians are prevented from making direct hard point contact with the hinge structure, and the collision damage value of pedestrian protection heads is reduced; and on the other hand, due to the fact that the whole hinge part is not damaged in the sinking process, the hinge part can be repeatedly used and does not need to be replaced again.
