In computing, a plug and play (PnP) device or computer bus is one with a specification that facilitates the discovery of a hardware component in a system without the need for physical device configuration or user intervention in resolving resource conflicts. The term "plug and play" has since been expanded to a wide variety of applications to which the same lack of user setup applies.
A method and system for providing session mobility between end user communication devices, such as between session initiation protocol (SIP) devices and universal plug and play (UPnP) devices. The session mobility methods and systems make use of a session manager, which can be part of a bridge coupled between the communication devices involved in a communication session, that allows the session to be moved to another end usercommunication device. The session manager controls the transfer of communication sessions between the end user communication devices. The session manager also is configured to control and manage the addition of end user communication devices to existing sessions between communication devices. As part of this session mobility between communication devices, the session manager can create a virtual device within the bridge to represent an actual communication device that is communicating with a different communication device in a different domain within the communication session.
The invention discloses a smart home management center system. The smart home management center system comprises an intelligent electronic device and a Z-WaveDongle. The Z-WaveDongle comprises a first data interface, a processing unit and a Z-Wave transmit and receive module; and the intelligent electronic device comprises a network communication module, a processing module and a second data interface, wherein the first data interface is used for connecting the second data interface; the Z-Wave transmit and receive module is used for the communication with one or a plurality of equipments from a plurality of front-end Z-Waves; the processing unit receives from a Z-Wave sampled signal of the equipment from the front-end Z-Wave via the Z-Wave transmit and receive module, and converts the Z-Wave sampled signal to a sampled electric signal; and the processing module of the intelligent electronic device is used for converting the sampled electric signal to the sampled signal which conforms to a network protocol, and sending the sampled electric signal to the Internet of Things or other intelligent electronic devices via the network communication module. According to the smart home management center system, the Z-WaveDongle can be combined to any intelligent electronic device having the function above to realize gateway functions, and the specific gateway in the market is not used. The smart home management center system is good in compatibility, and realizes plug and play, thereby reducing the reconstruction project and the cost when the smart home system is arranged.
